Congratulations, Robert! Your belief that everyone has inherent worth is something I wish more people believed in. It's refreshing to see someone push back against the oppressive ways faith has been used and instead focus on love and dignity. We all deserve to live in a world where love and kindness are at the forefront. What a beautiful story!
Your thoughts on being contemplative resonated with me. It truly does feel like an affliction at times. While I do feel that being a thinker, and really considering things from all angles, is mostly a positive thing, at times I'm so in my head that I make myself crazy. Yesterday, I actually told a friend that I'm too much in my head at the moment and feeling very wound up and blah.
