My heart goes out to you Robert. I am tearing up reading this. You are such an inspiration to be just by being yourself. Much love to you on the journey of life and the ups and downs that come with it. I am glad that you have recieved so much love on the difficult times recently. I have been following along and my heart has been with you and I am glad you have recovered health wise, and there were no complications. IMu heart is with you in regards to the loss, my deepest condolences. Even though I may not always comment, know I am rooting for you and are hoping you are always experiencing light and love.

I love your writing! You are good at it. Here are Thoreau’s words:

But what does all this scribbling amount to?

-Henry David Thoreau-

……….He loved writing.

Keep writing! ~mg

Hi Robert! I'm Alexandria, and I'm new to this Substack community. I just discovered this post after seeing one of your notes, and I knew I had to subscribe when I read that you, too, are a slow reader who likes to linger. I thought I was the only one! There's so often a pressure to rush through books and move on to the next (challenges: how many books can you read in a week, in a month, in a year), but I find immense joy in savoring every page and truly absorbing the story. It's refreshing to find someone who shares this appreciation. I look forward to reading more of your thoughtful insights.
